Insurance & Fees

I believe finding the right therapist should feel as straightforward as possible. I am an in-network provider with select insurance plans, and I also offer private-pay options.

Insurance Accepted

I am currently in-network with:

  • Optum / UnitedHealthcare

  • Cigna / Evernorth Behavioral Health

  • Aetna

Insurance plans and benefits vary, so being in-network does not necessarily mean that every plan or service is covered. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits, copay or coinsurance, deductible, and coverage before beginning therapy. If you'd like, my office can also help you with the insurance verification process.

Private Pay

Private-pay sessions are available for clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose insurance plan I do not participate with. My fee is $150 / session.

Please note: Insurance benefits are determined by your individual insurance plan. Verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment, and you are ultimately responsible for understanding your coverage and any applicable fees.

Here are the benefits of not using insurance for your mental health treatment:

  • No insurance involvement: When you pay out of pocket, you don’t have to worry about your therapy sessions being shared with insurance companies. This can create a greater sense of privacy and security.

  • Fewer records: With no third-party involvement, your treatment isn’t being recorded or tracked in the same way it would be through an insurance company, making your sessions feel more personal and private.

  • No Need for Mental Health Diagnosis: Insurance often requires a formal diagnosis in order to cover therapy, while paying out of pocket allows you to receive therapy without the pressure of needing a specific diagnosis, especially if you’re seeking therapy for general well-being or personal growth.

I am licensed in Florida, Connecticut, and Massachusetts and provide all sessions via secure Telehealth
videoconferencing. Please note that I can only work with clients who life in the aforementioned states.

Session Length

Sessions are 50 minutes long with 5 minutes of “flex time” built in for scheduling, billing, etc.
